Bartlett Parent/Guardian Must Knows
Attendance Policy: Parents/Guardians please note there is no need to call the school to notify of your students absence. Attendance is taken by teacher accordingly upon students arrival in the classroom. In able for an absence to be excused per district policy a note with students name, teachers name, specified dates of absences, reason for absences and parent/guardian signature is required to excuse the absence. Absences notes can be submitted to teacher via homework folder, on our school website in the online form in the parent tab, or dropped off in the office. Class Dojo messages, emails to teacher, or phone calls to the school are NOT acceptable forms of absence excusal. Please click and read form above for more information.
Late Pick Up Policy:
Parents/Guardians please note dismissal time of 3:26pm. Students will wait at the dismissal gate with teacher until 3:36pm. If parent/guardian has not arrived by then students are then brought to the office to wait for parent/guardian pick up. At 3:45pm the office closes and all leftover students will be transition to SafeKey, utilizing their one time transition pass. If student has already utilized their one time transition pass to SafeKey, CCSDPD will be called and protocol and procedure will be followed on their end. Please make sure you always have a pick up and drop off plan for your students.

Student Technology Policy:
All students must have their cellular devices turned off during the instructional day. They may only be used prior to the first bell, after the final bell and during lunch. Devises will be confiscated if used during instruction time and devices will only be returned to parent/guardian. Please click and read form above for more information.
Withdrawal of permission to enter and be on school premises:
Bartlett ES has zero tolerance for inappropriate behavior from an adult, parent, or guardian. Yelling, screaming, cussing, disrespectful language/attitude and threating language towards any and all staff members will not be tolerated and will result in a call to CCSD PD and HPD as well as a removal and ban from school campus. Safety Information: Parents/Guardians please review safety information above with your student. Mountain View park is not a recommended area to leave your student unattended. All matters that happen at Mountain View park are handled by HPD and the city of Henderson. Please click and read form above for more information.
Grading Policy:
Parents/Guardians please review Bartlett grading policy. Reports cards for both first and second semester will be posted on your parent portal. End of the year report cards will be made available 3 days after the last day of school and only posted on your parent portal. Bartlett will not be printing end of the year report cards. SafeKey:
SafeKey is a before and after school care program hosted by the city of Henderson. SafeKey is held in our school cafeteria where parents can drop off students before school hours between 6:45am to 9:15am. After school care starts from 3:26pm to 6:00pm. Parents/Guardians must register and pay for days of usage. Please click link above for for more information.
